We hope you enjoy Julie & Bill’s beautiful Eastern Shore Wedding, which was designed and executed flawlessly by Sara & her team at Connect the Dots (“ctd”).
As we say on our site, Pair or Hearts productions cost less than those by Be Films, but that doesn’t mean they are limited to a certain type of wedding, or a certain type of couple. Our team approaches each wedding differently, bringing energy & creativity to match that of the couples we film.
Working with a planner such as Sara or Sue at ctd is always exciting, and super helpful for our cinematographers. Why? Because these professionals keep our team informed and in communication with the other vendors. It’s also key that they are wedding professionals, so they understand and appreciate our perspective when it comes to creating & capturing intimate moments, and those oh-so-important details. Perhaps our favorite thing about working with ctd and other seasoned event design teams is that they develop a timeline for the day that outlines (and prepares all parties for) the actual order of the wedding day events, and anticipates allowances for extra time and/or deviations from the original plans, whether caused by weather, ailing relatives, guest transport troubles, etc. AND THEY STICK TO IT.
Because Pair of Hearts productions include 6 to 8 hours of coverage, this is extremely important to our team. We never want our couples to feel disappointed or surprised that our time has come to an end before their first dance, or toasts. We know well in advance when working with Sara that all parties are aware of our start and end times, the location(s) and the order of events, along with their timing, which ctd ensures runs according to plan, so we don’t miss a thing.
We realize that a wedding planner may not be in your budget, but if there is any room to wiggle, we hope you’ll consider hiring a seasoned pro. At the end of your reception, you’ll feel relieved and relaxed, which is well worth it!Photography: Aaron Snow Event Design: Connect the Dots Venue: Brittland Manor
